MY STORY IN FLOWERS...

 

My first job in a flower shop was in 1999. I learned so much about basic design and found it came naturally to me. Two years later I went to work at a more eclectic and high end florist. That is where I really excelled. I was given the opportunity to learn the art of design with fresh and silk flowers with amazing support!

 

I value those years every time I design for a customer.

 

I took a small hiatus from floral design and became a display merchandiser for a well-known furniture store, but I did continue to do custom silk florals. I couldn’t break my need for floral design and went back!

 

I worked at 3 small community-town florists in the area before deciding I wanted to specialize in wedding flowers.

 

In 2012 I started Corey Allen Designs. I found great success in my venture and when the opportunity came up for me to buy Posy, I thought, “This is my next step!” I have been very blessed with supportive family and friends, and I am lucky enough to get to meet new people every day!
